How money requests work

A money request is a message that says: please pay me this amount. You pick another QuataPay user, enter the amount and send it. They receive a notification, and the request waits in their app as pending.

When they accept (they confirm with their PIN), QuataPay moves the money from their wallet to yours in one step and notifies you that they paid. If they decline you are notified too. If the transfer fails, the request stays pending so they can try again or decline. You can cancel a request yourself while it is still pending, and a request that nobody answers expires after 14 days by default.

Paying a request from a QuataPay wallet has no QuataPay fee. Only the government tax of 0.2% + 4 F applies, as on any wallet-to-wallet transfer; the fees page has the details.
