How sending money works
Send money moves funds from your QuataPay wallet to another person's QuataPay wallet. In the app you choose the recipient by @handle, by phone number or by scanning their QR, enter the amount, and confirm with your PIN. The recipient has to have a QuataPay account; if they do not, ask them to open one, or ask them to share a payment link or QR so they can receive from outside QuataPay.
QuataPay charges no fee for a transfer between QuataPay users. The only cost is the government tax of 0.2% + 4 F, and the app shows the total before you confirm. You send from your wallet balance, so add money first from MTN Mobile Money or at an agent if your balance is low.
People you have sent to are remembered as saved recipients, you can schedule a transfer for later or on a repeating basis, and every transfer has a receipt you can open from your transaction history.
